Laser Foot Surgery in Orange County

Using a laser to correct a bunion deformity or other foot issues has been around for many years.

Using a laser for foot surgery will result in increased swelling and a delayed healing.

I would not recommend having laser foot surgery to fix a bunion or any other bone issue.

Laser can be used to treat chronic ingrown nails or plantar warts.

Ingrown nails and plantar warts would be the only pathology I would use a laser on.

In my experience, I have seen too many patients come in with complications after laser surgery for bunions.

There are many studies to show that a laser creates increased skin necrosis and delays healing.

Using a sharp blade and careful, meticulous dissection will minimize swelling and pain.
